The only consensus reached was all countries agreed to talk further, including the U.S. But they didn't even agreed on an exact goal, i.e. how much carbon emission should we cut, after all the efforts. Of course optimists say this is the best we can do when Bush is in power, and the more important thing is US is on board now and whoever becomes the next President, he/she will do better.
