December lotus!

In my memory Lotus is always associated with July. Because it is the birthday flower of July, the month I was born. Therefore I was surprised to see them in the Common Wealth Park today--December lotus.

My friend called and told me they got snow in Northeastern US for Christmas and the next thing she said was, "It is hard to imagine a green Christmas!" I agree. It is still hard to believe it even when I am living it--blooming lotus in December!
