March 1st is supposed to be the official start date of Autumn here. But no, there is hardly any trace yet. In fact right now it is even warmer than last two weeks, and we'll continue to have 30+C temperatures at least for the coming week!
We brought bunch of chilly peppers in the market today and I stringed them. Quite cute, uh? In my part of China people hang peppers, garlics, and corn cobs after harvest. So what you see in the picture is a typical autumn scene. Food can be preserved longer after being dried in the air. Also I suppose one feels warmer and fuzzier when seeing enough food around. All the best to prepare for the harsh winter, if there is such a thing in Australia :)
