Winter is finally here!

Yoyo was born in July and in her hometown that was the hottest time of the year. After moving to the other side of the earth she realized, sadly, that instead of spending her birthday on beach now she has to spend most of her time underneath blanket (or in MM's pocket).

So far Canberra winter has been rather mild. Just last week MM asked, "What do you think of the winter here?" Yoyo started her answer with giggling. The sun was not as harsh; the grass is green (even greener than in summer time) and there are flowers all over the place.

This week though it is really getting cold. A couple of nights in a row Yoyo woke up because of it was too cold. Temerature-wise it was just below 0 degree and that is nothing for Yoyo in theory, after she spent the last five years in NorthEastern US. But unfortunately this apartment (and Canberra houses in general really) wasn't built for this kind of weather--the windows are not properly sealed and there is no heater in bedroom.

Time to hibernate, as MM often says these days.
