Amazing scences from the 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony

I missed last night's opening ceremony as I was on my way back from Perth to Canberra (a business trip). Now I am watching the ceremony from YouTube.

It was very impressive I have to say. The best bit so far was the "Chinese Character forming". Printing is one of four great inventions by Ancient Chinese (the other three are: paper making, compass, and gun powder), so it is not surprising for the organizer to show off. 3000 people, dressed in Ancient Confucian clothes, each holding a Chinese character, formed huge characters of "He" (means Peace in Chinese) with their bodies! Not only that, they showed how "He" looked like over time.
