From Tim Ferris, summarizing The Power of Less by taking small bite a time. For me a piece of new information is that one should determine the 'trigger', the thing that will kick you towards the thing you are supposed to do. I guess the assumptions here are, 1) the trigger is part your daily routine, e.g. taking a shower, and 2) ultimately the relationship between this thing you're supposed to do and the trigger will be like bread & butter, movie & popcorn, and MM & YY ;)
So here is my plan:
The habit I want to form for January: to write my papers everyday, at least for an hour.
The trigger: when clock turns to 4pm
I am publicizing my plan via the blog and I will report to MM for my daily progress.
