Sydney summers by 2060 could be deadly

According to CSIRO scientists.

They didn't say how certain they were about the results. But at least they made a good point: it is not the high temperature alone that kills but the combined effects of multiple factors (of high temperature, drought and air pollution etc).

BTW, We are in Sydney now: I am here for a conference, and MM is here to give a presentation for a possible job position, if it opens in future (when the financial crisis-induced-hiring-freeze finally ends). Neither of us is a fan of Sydney. It is fun for a couple of days but after that, we miss the peaceful and quite Canberra!
