Once upon a time, the master had a student who often complains about how harsh his life is. One day, the master asked the student to get a bag of salt. Then the master put a handful of the salt into a cup. "Now, taste the water," he said.
"It is awfully bitter!" The student screamed.
Then the master throw the same amount of water into a lake. "How does the lake water taste then?"
"Pretty good." The student didn't complain for a change.
"The difficult times in your life is just like this salt," said the master with a smile, "the degree of its bitterness depends on the size of the container that holds the water, not the amount of the salt."
"And your heart is the container."
