I always think myself being rather adventurous in cooking, but I have never put these two things together. Probably because MM reported it was awful when he did it.
I just found this recipe of chicken adobo, a national dish of the Philippines, which in fact uses both coconut milk and soy sauce. Cannot imagine how it tastes like, especially with heaps of rice vinegar as well.
I only had once in my life a vinaigrette-flavored chicken, cooked by a Filipino friend of course. From what I remembered it was horrible; it almost felt that the meet went bad ;).
