Lincolnshire plum bread

We watched the BBC show and MM claimed he had not have plum bread for almost 20 years. So I made it for him and it turned out "the tastiest bear food ever!"

It is rather dense and doughy in the middle. The 200g+ prunes seems to evaporate during the cooking process but I guess that is why the bread is purple.
