
Good news is today I found another reason, apart from its nutrition, to convince MM to eat carrots. According to Treehugger, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers and potatoes are likely to be the first foods to get a special climate-friendly label in Sweden.
They didn't explain why though. My guess is that these vegetables are produced locally therefore no long-distance transportation necessary before they reach our dinner table. No transportation means no fuel consumption which produces CO2.
