What is Yoyo's cooking style?

"Fusion" is the word.

Yoyo enjoys cooking and she is particularly into Thai, Mexican, Indian, Italian, Mid-eastern, and of course Chinese cuisines. Her expertise, is to mix up the ingredients and methods of these different styles and most of the times it works. The other day for instance, she threw in a diced tomato into a Laksa soup, which turned out tasty but didn't taste Laksa much anymore, according to MM.

Today's lunch is another example. As you can see from the picture, she made a pan-braised asparagus with olive oil, garlic and lemon juice, which is more or less an Italian style. The protein part of the meal was named "Falafel chicken" by MM, which was a stir-fried chicken breast spiced with soy sauce, sweet paprika, and cumin powder. In an effort to make it healthier, the rice was made with half rice and half oats, and got MM's "Umm..." as a response, thought he rated both the Vege and the chicken "good".

P.S. In order to get feedbacks from her one and only customer MM, Yoyo adopted a four scale ranking system for her food: ouch, OK, good, very good. When she was a bit too daring in her fusion experiment she would get comments such as "Umm" (like today) and "interesting", which really means "refreshing + I'm flabbergasted+ what else can I say+ can we go out instead?"
