Here is how my peppers look like today (here is a picture of them one month ago). My conclusion: only some peppers are chameleon. As shown in the picture not all of them picked up a black tint before turning into a proper redhead. They certainly are not as pretty I wonder whether they taste different.
I should try it out soon. Some of them seem to be ready, and more importantly, they should give others a chance to grow. The pot they are growing in is only this big and it is probably not a good idea to move the plant with 20 peppers to a bigger pot.
How I wish I had a garden at a time like this...Sigh.
