The Great Barrier Reef trip -- Port Douglas beach

We stayed in Port Douglas and our hotel was pretty much on the beach, which was supposed to be four mile long. Here is an overview.

Here is a lonely coconut lying on the beach. We in fact picked one up ourselves and it took MM quite a while to get rid of the husk outside and expose the familiar part of the coconut.
