They finally delivered my stuff shipped from the US, and the whole process took almost four months!
Still I am happy. Not long ago I was told Australian Quarantine Service found an insect in the container where my and somebody else's stuff were in. That was before Christmas break. Who knows how long it would take for the bug to be identified?
Surprise, surprise, on Jan 3rd my shipping company suddenly called and said they would deliver tomorrow?!
They did, and it was even my stuff. Unfortunately one box was missing, and it was filled with my most important books, most academic (which means it will costs a fortune to replace). So now the new suspense is whether they could find that box.
Oh well. Not a drama. I found myself suspense-ready these days after being hit by so many of them during this international move.
It took me four days to sort my stuff out. One of the first things I did was to put up this bear on our fridge door. He used to standing on my fridge back in the US. Isn't that cute? I like its belly-button part best, of course its bear-nose :) By the way, this bear is more than cute; he is actually a very capable bear, can you guess for what?
Hint: each composing dot of the bear is magnetic.
